| Subcontract Control Module |
With the Subcontract Control module, businesses can efficiently manage subcontractors. Subcontract Control provides total control over subcontractor commitments and activity, including entry of the original contract, monitoring of insurance and bonding status, positive and negative change orders, invoices and requisitions, retention processing, and payments. Fully integrated with Job Costing, General Ledger, and Accounts Payable, Subcontract Control ensures accurate and timely accounting and contract processing. Fast, single-screen inquiry presents a complete status of any contract. |

Using Subcontract Control, you’ll appreciate these benefits:
- For flexibility, subcontracts may be entered for a lump sum amount or may be calculated on quantities and unit price. Subcontracts may be distributed across one or more task codes per job.
- Change orders may be entered against any subcontract and job task — for positive or negative amounts and as approved or pending.
- Using the optional Buyout/Procurement component, users may create Requests for Quote and generate subcontract agreements from Buyout Entry. Generate more revenue by selecting the right proposal.
- With the DataLink component, data from Subcontract Control may be exported or imported from other applications or office automation software.
- Critically timed events related to subcontractor activity (estimated start and completion dates, submittals, etc.) may be recorded and monitored using Management Suite’s Office Manager event tracking system.
- Bonding requirements and insurance expiration dates are recorded and monitored.
- Integration with Accounts Payable prevents over-payment or premature payment of subcontractor requisitions.
- Numerous management reports provide a detailed picture of all subcontracts and a complete audit trail of all activity to prevent costly mistakes or disputes.
- Subcontract Control gives contractors the ability to create Microsoft Word templates; scope of work and terms, for example, do not need to be retyped.
- The Business Center provides “point and click” technology, enabling users to retrieve information easily.
- User-defined fields track information for each contract (e.g., estimated start date, bonding company, and union) without the need for custom programming.
- All Subcontract Control data is ODBC compatible, allowing the use of Microsoft Office, scheduling software, or any other ODBC-compliant product to produce custom reports, analyses, graphs, documents, and schedules.
